PROJECT
An event-driven order processing system designed to handle failures, retries, and asynchronous workflows in distributed environments — built around resilience, not just functionality.

AutoNexis is an event-driven order processing system designed to handle failures, retries, and asynchronous workflows in distributed environments. Instead of relying on fragile synchronous flows, the system uses event queues and automation pipelines to ensure that every order is processed reliably — even when parts of the system fail. This is not a CRUD project. It demonstrates how to design resilient backend systems with failure handling, retries, and eventual consistency.
Orders are processed asynchronously through event queues instead of direct API chaining, ensuring loose coupling and reliability.
Failed events are automatically retried with exponential backoff or redirected to a Dead Letter Queue for manual recovery.
Persistent queue ensures no data loss during failures or downtime, maintaining order integrity across the system.
Background processes and workflow orchestration handled via n8n automation engine for reliable, repeatable operations.
Comprehensive event tracking and failure logging for debugging, observability, and system reliability analysis.
Services operate independently with clear boundaries, reducing system-wide failure impact and improving maintainability.
